Users
Invite users, assign roles, and manage access permissions for your ShuffleSync organization.
User Management Overview
The Users page allows organization administrators to control who has access to ShuffleSync and what they can do. Proper user management is essential for security and collaboration.
Inviting New Users
Navigate to Users
Go to Org Settings > Users from the sidebar.
Click Invite User
Click the + Invite User button in the top-right corner.
Enter Email Address
Enter the email address of the person you want to invite. You can invite multiple users by adding additional emails.
Select Role
Choose the appropriate role for the new user (Viewer, Editor, Admin, or Owner).
Send Invitation
Click Send Invite. The user will receive an email with instructions to join your organization.

User Roles
ShuffleSync uses four predefined roles with increasing levels of access:
Viewer
- View integrations and their configurations
- View reports and dashboard
- View execution logs
- Cannot create, edit, or delete anything
Editor
- Everything Viewers can do
- Create and edit integrations
- Connect data sources
- Manually trigger integrations
- Cannot manage users or org settings
Admin
- Everything Editors can do
- Invite and manage users
- Manage teams
- Manage API keys
- View audit logs
- Cannot manage billing or delete organization
Owner
- Full access to all features
- Manage billing and subscription
- Delete organization
- Transfer ownership
Principle of Least Privilege
User Table
The Users page displays all organization members:

| Status | Active, Pending, or Suspended |
| Last Active | When the user last logged in |
| Joined | Date the user joined the organization |
| Actions | Edit, suspend, or remove user |
Managing Existing Users
Change Role
Click the role dropdown next to a user to change their role. Changes take effect immediately.
Suspend User
Suspending a user temporarily blocks their access without removing them from the organization. They cannot log in until unsuspended.
Remove User
Removing a user permanently deletes their membership. They will need a new invitation to rejoin. Integrations they created are not deleted.

View and manage pending invitations:
- Resend: Send another invitation email
- Cancel: Revoke the invitation
- Expiry: See when the invitation expires

Single Sign-On (SSO)
Enterprise customers can enable SSO for streamlined authentication:
- SAML 2.0 integration
- Support for Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace
- Automatic user provisioning
- Just-in-time (JIT) user creation
Contact your account manager to configure SSO for your organization.
Best Practices
- Regular Audits: Review user access quarterly
- Offboarding: Remove users promptly when they leave
- Role Reviews: Ensure roles match current responsibilities
- Owner Backup: Have at least one Admin who can become Owner if needed
